City of Tuscaloosa Invites Community to Help Shape City's Future
September 24, 2018
The City of Tuscaloosa has launched Framework, a process for everyone who cares about our community to share ideas and create a plan to guide the City’s growth for years to come.
Framework will define a long-term vision for Tuscaloosa and will update both the City’s Comprehensive Plan and its zoning and land development regulations. Framework is a multi-year process that will include several community events for sharing ideas and giving feedback.
This once-in-a-generation effort will proactively address topics that are important to the community including neighborhoods and housing, lakes, economic prosperity, transportation, the environment and more. All opinions matter and all participants’ voices will be heard.
The first community event, the Forum on the Future, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market, 1900 Jack Warner Pkwy.
To get involved further, visit framework.tuscaloosa.com to sign-up for email updates and submit your ideas.
