Tuscaloosa City Council Adopts 2016 Budgets

The Tuscaloosa City Council adopted the fiscal year 2016 budgets at their weekly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
"In an effort to be open and transparent, we decided to publish the budget in its entirety on the City's website," said Mike Wright, director of finance. "Taxpayers deserve to know where their money is being invested."
The $139,743, 934 general fund and $52,991,157 water and sewer budgets are:

GF Expenditures - Debt Service and Transfers
GF Expenditures - Economic Development
GF Expenditures - Emergency Management
GF Expenditures - Environmental Services

GF Expenditures - Federal Programs
GF Expenditures - Human Resources
GF Expenditures - Information Technology
GF Expenditures - Joint Ventures
GF Expenditures - Mayor - Clerk
GF Expenditures - Municipal Court
GF Expenditures - Office of the City Attorney
GF Expenditures - Office of the City Engineer
