City of Tuscaloosa to host Fourth of July Celebration on the River

The City of Tuscaloosa will host the annual Fourth of July Celebration on the River on Thursday, July 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater. This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and will include fireworks, live music, kids’ activities and more.

Schedule of activities:

6 – 7:45 p.m. City of Tuscaloosa Kid Zone (with games and activities for all ages)
6 – 7:50 p.m. DJ Tank Performance
7:55 – 8:55 p.m. Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra Performance
9 p.m. Fireworks begin after brief remarks from Mayor Walt Maddox

Attendees are encouraged to park in the free parking deck located on the corner of 7th St and 23rd Ave and take a shuttle or walk to the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater. Accessible parking will be available in the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater box office parking lot.
