Public Meetings

 
The City of Tuscaloosa City Council and Council Committee meetings holds all public meetings in person. The City will broadcast all public meetings via our cable channel and on Facebook Live. Any person, so desiring, may participate in any of the Council Committee or Council meetings through video conferencing, or in-person. See all input and participation options below.  
 
In advance by written comment. There's no need to attend in-person. Submit a written comment through the public comments form located at www.tuscaloosa.com/meetings or by emailing cityclerk@tuscaloosa.com. Written comments will be distributed to the Councilmembers for the next scheduled meeting and kept on record.
 

During the meeting, in person. You can attend the meeting in-person to speak. An appointment is not required. Face coverings are not required at this time. During the meeting, you will wait in designated areas and enter Council Chambers when called to comment during the specific designated time. 

Any individual wishing to provide supplemental information (PowerPoint, handouts, pictures, etc.) may submit the information via email (cityclerk@tuscaloosa.com)  no later than 12:00 p.m. the day before the meeting. External flash drives will not be accepted for the Council Meetings. You are also welcome to bring hard copies of documents to distribute during the meetings.
