City of Tuscaloosa Runoff Elections

Runoff elections for the City of Tuscaloosa, District One and District Six City Council will take place on Tuesday, April 13.
 
Absentee ballot applications for the 2021 city election runoffs will be available to Tuscaloosa registered voters beginning March 15. Applications can be obtained at Tuscaloosa City Hall, mailed to a resident by calling the City Clerk’s office and requesting one or printed online at elections.tuscaloosa.com.
 
If submitting an application by mail, completed applications should be mailed along with a copy of the registered voters driver’s license to P.O. Box 2089, Tuscaloosa, AL 35403. The City Clerk will mail the ballot and all instructions needed to the registered address. The ballot must be completed, notarized or witnessed by two people, and returned prior to the election.
 
Additionally, in-person absentee voting will be held at City Hall in the City Clerk’s Office March 15 – April 12. Voters may bring the completed application and driver’s license to the City Hall entrance located on the 4th floor of the Intermodal Facility Parking Deck between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. where they will be escorted to the Clerk’s Office to vote. 
 
Deadline to submit applications is April 8. Absentee ballots will be accepted until April 12 at 5 p.m.
