City of Tuscaloosa to Host 13th Annual Mayor’s Cup 5K

The City of Tuscaloosa will host the 13th annual Mayor’s Cup 5K for Pre-K on Saturday, April 27.
Since the inaugural Mayor’s Cup in 2007, the race has raised more than $272,000 for the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative, which aims to expand education and health services for academically at-risk children and their families.
The 5K is open to all ages and will begin at 8 a.m. Participants are welcome to run, walk or even stroll along the downtown route, which will start and end at Government Plaza.
