City of Tuscaloosa Urban Development to Present West Tuscaloosa Community Collaboration Findings
March 16, 2018
The City of Tuscaloosa Urban Development Department will present initial findings for the West Tuscaloosa study Wednesday, March 28 at the McDonald Hughes Community Center, once at 10:30 a.m. and again at 4:30 p.m.
The presentation will highlight findings from community meetings last month, and will identify and examine planning and design elements that encourage reinvestment and promote neighborhood stabilization in the area. Officials will also receive feedback to help prepare for final recommendations.
"As the Invest West plan progresses, it’s important to keep the community involved," said Mayor Walt Maddox. "Building on top of the significant infrastructure investments of the past 12 years, achieving our core belief is now within our reach and is why we need the input of those who make West Tuscaloosa home."
