The Tuscaloosa Forward Strategic Community Plan, a collaborative product created by citizens and the City of Tuscaloosa to guide recovery after the April 27, 2011 tornado, was endorsed by the City Council on Aug. 22, 2011. The City Council endorsed the next step in the rebuilding process, the Tuscaloosa Forward Generational Master Plan, on April 24, 2012.
